About Me

I am a Chinese journalist based in Hong Kong. From both at undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I spent more than 5 years learning how to be a journalist, storyteller, photographer, and video maker.

When I was in mainland, I devoted almost every vacation to internships to understand how national media  work today, including CCTV, Xinhua News Agency, NetEase News, etc. After I came to Hong Kong for postgraduate, I began to discover a broader media world, no longer limited to the propaganda machine, but more diverse and in-depth.

Currently, I’m working in documentary production (mostly history documentaries). I'm still using " To see life. To see the world. To watch the faces of the poor, and the gestures of the proud" as my motto which drag me into this journalism world.

I can't say I'm an excellent journalist right now, but I'm still obsessed with making videos, talking to people, and delving into the truth.
